Reflect on the cause, and change the effect
Until we recognize that as human beings we are sabotaging ourselves through fear and ignorance, then the world and the societies of which we habitat will continue to manifest the same pattern of thinking and behavior. Until we long to seek our true identity, of the immaterial and Infinite, we will continue to identify with the material labels of black, white, and the rest. These labels are the makeup of the physical body. They are not truth, and they are causing irreparable damage, allowing the ego to reign and the suppression of the light within. We are truth and bliss, peace and knowledge, love and light. This is who we really are. Once we are receptive, the boons will appear. They come in the precious moments of awareness, of which so many run from. It is a practice of living in the present, which brings a constant state of awareness. This consistency develops empathy, compassion, and love. When directed inward it transforms and projects outward to those around us, with no conditions of race, creed, or gender. The illusion of separateness starts to unveil. You love others as you love yourself, from the understanding and awareness that we are different, yet One in the same. Pause, and take a breath. Reflect on the cause, and change the effect. Om Shanti..Om Peace..

Meditation
Meditation enables you to withdraw your mind from the external world...the noisy, restless, busy world...and focus it within, where your true personality is, where the Truth is, where the Light is... In today’s world, meditation is imperative. It should be embraced as our best friend, with no judgments, no expectations, just a supportive and truthful friend. It will never desert you, and will be with you in the midst of chaos. The ego is clever in keeping the veil of illusion(Maya) most present in the forefront of our minds, and it plays plenty of games to convince one that it is not necessary to meditate, or it's too hard, or the mind has too many thoughts, or life is too busy, etc. It’s a clever one, but it’s not as smart as you. And it’s also predictable. Once you are able to observe it, you will see its games. Yoga is a universal science of living to enable one to discover the truth of their existence...That we are Truth and Bliss, Peace and Knowledge, Love and Light. This is who we really are.

Letter to author of “How Yoga Can Wreck Your Body”
I read your recent article in the New York Times titled “How Yoga Can Wreck Your Body” and I must say I am disturbed with how loosely and superficially you speak of a science that is more than 6,000 years old. “The problem with Yoga” is not Yoga. It is the way the asanas are being taught today as well as the practitioner who pushes him/herself along with the teacher who is improperly trained. These are the problems and causes of injury yet the whole theme of your article claims Yoga is the problem and cause.
