Giving thanks all the time
Gratitude is real
Another day another rhyme
With deepest love to feel
Gratitude for what's removed
Whatever new is given
Grateful for the lessons learned
Whatever is forgiven
For all the past and present days
Reality keeping track
Future comes when out of the haze
No longer turning back
There's certainly a daze around
People's minds are fixed
Or mixed or tricked
Can't get a grip
No longer wholly sound
Then there are those
That think they're a god
Concocting delusions of grandeur
Apparently not that hard to do
For fame or fortune or stature
Foolish is as foolish does
Let the buyer beware
Playing with fire's a smokey slope
Igniting into flares
How did man come up with this
Quite bizarre and complex
Always best to check oneself
Ego's grandest test
Are you the maker of this body
Did you create the air
Are you the founder of trees or bees
Lions and tigers and bears
Tie that thought up in a knot
Then comb it through and through
Spiders are the makers of webs
They're not here because of you
Better know what you're working with
If you think God can be outsmarted
Evil comes in cloaks and smiles
His lovers are always targeted
If you don't yet know
That you love God
He knows much more than you
First accept then make the shift
Lots you will go through
He knows your heart better than all
Nothing that you can hide
Best to surrender to Him alone
Fears will then subside
If you're on a track that's right
He'll show you what was wrong
Darkness cannot win over Light
Faith will make you strong
Give thanks to Him every day
Any moment you can
This world is in a state of flux
Grab on to His helping hand 🙏🏼🧡
