Since childhood to present
Seeking who is this man
Walking on water and land
Extending a helping hand
The one who shared the truth
Then to future times
Preserving it for all mankind
Regardless of the tides
Stormy seas to manage
Hatred and the rest
On a mission and a quest
Rulers did detest
Several followed willingly
Others doubted and sneered
No matter what the temperaments
His love was always near
Crucified a martyr
Against the establishment
Revealing all the dirty lies
Shaking the firmament
Such a forceful figure
Whether true or story
Spirit is as Spirit does
All in timeless glory
Will we ever really know
What is the truth of man
What does it mean to love one God
However much we can
Bible says, 'Seek and ye shall find'
Vedas say, 'Know thy self'
Knock and the door will open
Truth will then be dealt
How can one find God
Some say through Jesus Christ
In myth or flesh
There was a mess
Evil's dirty heist
Some say God's like the ocean
Drop of water in all
Question everything you hear
Listen for His call
Others today shout another way
Universe is within!
There is no God but ourselves!
We're perfect! There's no sin!
Let's be clear on something here
Perfect we cannot be
Human is as human does
Mind plays tricks on thee
Bible says,
'No one comes to the Father but through me'
Vedas say, 'Man creates his world through his mind'
God lovers choosing Jesus say,
'He's no other of its kind'
There may be some confusion
Resistance, yes for sure
If he walked on water
Will he lead us to the shore
Don't get caught in distractions
Evil plays its tricks
Apparent that they hate him
His name keeps one equipped
Faith is a powerful potion
Not for the faint of heart
Truth is brutal come what may
Never to be apart
Teaching man how to swim
Lessons for the few
Most would rather float or paddle
Drowning what is true
Careful associations
With those who are the like
Seeming nice with arms and legs
God they'd rather fight
Living for another
Choice that they have sown
Every action bold infraction
Darkness will be shown
Not all have good intentions
Today the world is slim
Not everything is what it seems
Can only trust in Him
If God is in the heart of man
See is what you shall
Love will overpower
While removing all your pals
What is lost has greater gain
Peace beyond understanding
Never will you be alone
Sturdy in your standing
From the west to east to west
Seeking all this time
God is deep within the heart
Always on the mind
There is something about this man
Different from the others
Just his very name alone
Darkness will be smothered
For those who wish to know him
Choice that can be had
Never forced with no remorse
Heart is surely glad
Wherever yours at the moment
Keep conviction strong
The mission is a timeless one
A walk that's very long
Reaching seas of yonder
