What is Guru
05/21/2023

Sharing some background on the word Guru since most westerners(and even easterners at this stage) are not using the word properly. Guru means from dark to light, and one that has achieved this Godly spiritual endeavor is called Guru. When one formally addresses the Guru they refer to Him/Her as Guruji, which is a respectful form of endearment. This is not a self proclaimed title given to oneself(though many are doing it). It is traditionally given naturally by the people/students/disciples who witnessed this rare phenomenon in the flesh and were blessed to be in the presence even if only once. It is not a word to throw around like a piece of laundry. It was once hushed due to its awe and magnitude, same as the word God and also Yoga, which means to join/unite/yolk with the source. There are no adjectives or nouns to be placed before Guru or Yoga, just like you wouldn't put an additional word in front of God. And while someone might be an expert in a particular field, this does not make them a Guru. They are simply an expert in a particular field. The status of Guru is eminent, and it should not be given away lightly. In todays world everything authentic has been abused prostituted and watered down for the masses with trivial information and superficial acts. There is only one God, there is only one Yoga, and there have been some Guru's over time in different lands, yet they are all one from the same source. The truth is that the masses are wandering aimlessly not knowing who they are and what their purpose is. Misusing words seems irrelevant compared to the magnitude of this reality, however it's still important and necessary in order to discern and understand how advertising and marketing has been used to take over peoples minds and make them less intelligent by intentionally spreading faulty information so the people never really know the truth.
