Yogi Gupta

Yoga GuptaYogi Gupta (1917-2011) was a great Yoga Master and authentic Guru from India. He founded the Kailashananda Mission Trust, a charitable organization in Rishikesh, and is one of the most widely respected teachers throughout the world. He mastered the 9 main forms of Yoga -- Raja, Kundalini, Bhakti, Mantra, Tantra, Yantra, Jnana, Karma, Hatha -- and was one of the first Masters of the Yoga science who introduced Hatha Yoga to America in the 1950's. He is the author of Yoga and Long Life and Yoga and Yogic Powers.

Yogi Gupta selflessly served America for more than 55 years helping to raise the health, living standards and spirituality of the people and guiding thousands of students on the spiritual path. There aren't enough words to express all that He did to help the countless souls on their spiritual journey. His work in America has been recognized by some of the most prestigious organizations such as the American Biographical Institute (ABI) and Strathmore (among others).
